Drupal CDN module and Fileconveyor daemon for use with Amazon S3 content delivery server

I use the Drupal CDN module and the Python Fileconveyor daemon to synchronize website media files with the Amazon S3 server. Does anyone know of any flaw / disadvanctage using these modules.

Does Drupal have an alternative module for use with Amazon S3 and Amazon CDN on the website?
