Wi-Fi Prevention

Backround: Android 2.x runs on the tablet. Is there a way to prevent Wi-Fi from turning off when there is no incoming or outgoing connection? I need WiFi to stay alive for an incoming connection from the server. At the moment, I continue to live, but it's not so nice. I already figured out this project and found out that this is a bit of a saving. Is there anyway to get around this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Try going to Settings → Wireless Network → Wi-Fi Settings → Menu → Advanced → WiFi Sleep Policy and change the policy.

This can lead to the behavior you are describing.
