I am new to Qaru and Cygwin. My problem is how do you create / update Cygwin GCC? I see an outdated version of gcc from the Cygwin setup.exe file. Yes, I'm on the windows. Windows 7 to be exact.
So how can I create / update Cygwin GCC? I would rather use Cygwin than MinGW + MSYS because I like all things in one and not things everywhere.
Thank. (Step by step it would be appreciated, since I know nothing about creating a program from the source)
Also, what do I need from Cygwin to create / update Cygwin gcc? Install gcc from Cygwin first? Or am I just getting needs from Cygwin and then creating gcc using Cygwin and installing gcc?
