Is there a way to edit VS 10 projects in VS 2008?

I worked on another project in VS 2008. Now I updated it to the 2010 version, I want to send it to my friend so that he can use it. Is it possible?

As far as I know, no. If you want to use vs10 and vs2008 at the same time, you need to use separate project files.
