We are trying to identify a performance issue in the asp.net solution in Windows 2008.
- An error page that does not have access to the database and very little logic takes 10 seconds. Other pages in 70 seconds.
- Performance drops noticeably only at high load
- 5 GB total memory usage 16 available
- W3wp.exe using 2.5 GB
- multiple Connection_Dropped DefaultAppPool in httperr file
- OK. 1,500 connections, Asp.net's queue length is 10,000
- Low CPU consumption.
Anyone have an idea what I can check next?
Edit
Now I used VS 2010 to run a performance test with it on a test virtual server.
I launched 200 users with incremental builds and no wait.
