Is there a way to protect content (images, sounds) in the iPhone app?

I have some apps in the Apple app store that have a lot of expensive images and sounds. Now there are applications, such as PhoneView and PhoneDisk, that can easily download application content, and material can be downloaded.

Is there a way to protect against this?

You can confuse your assets. From simple (removing file extensions) to complex (encryption), but if someone really decided to see your assets, there is no way to stop them.
