Does TFS work without a domain?

I installed TFS on the same W7 machine with one user (me).

After creating the collection, I can’t access it or administer its security: it asks me for credentials. However, since I created the collection and there is only one user, I am stuck.

I think this may fail because it is a single machine without a domain (and therefore uses NTLM)

Could anyone use TFS on the same machine without a domain?
