OSX + VB.Net, in short, what is needed to transfer my program from windows, perhaps mono?

I have an order entry system that was developed using vb.net, it uses the ms access database.

I think I can use mono?

I will need an IDE if possible.

Can someone tell me what I want to download, and what problems I will encounter, as well as any suggestions.
