Can I sell an application created using the Mono compiler?

Mono licensing is not very clear to me. I created a C # application using Mono. I want to sell this application. Do I need to buy a license from Novell for this?

Licensing information at mono-project.org reads:

When do I need to get a license from Novell to Mono Runtime?

We only require licensing to use Mono and Moonlight on embedded systems or systems in which you are unable to fulfill the obligations of the GNU LGPL.

For example, if you are manufacturing a device in which the end user cannot upgrade the virtual virtual machine or Moonlight’s runtime from the source code, you will need a commercial license Mono and Moonlight.

Or, if you are submitting an application that requires Mono static binding and you cannot provide the object code for the Mono link, you must obtain a commercial license from Novell.

My application is for x86 computers running Linux. I want to distribute only binary files. My application just works in a database. How to find out if Mono runtime is required for static binding. I think I can relate the dynamics, right? So do I need to buy a license?
