My company is smaller. So, unfortunately, we do not have a budget to afford a good (or bad) UI designer / developer. So, we are programming the user interface. As you can imagine, this delivers us, but it is not very good.
Well, what I'm looking for is a good resource that shows or explains how to have a good layout and intuitive layout of controls in a web application (or even a desktop application). Are there any tutorials or websites that you would suggest?
