Javascript lib / jQuery for interacting with SOAP

This is for a production server, so I'm looking for something that has been tested and works well among different browsers.

there is a relatively new plugin:

I forked the project and worked on some changes (the plugin did not process the service I was working with). I hope that my updates will be merged at some point, but we will be happy to receive feedback.
