How can I cancel the "replace"?

I did not understand that “replacing” means that the log messages from the previous file will disappear, now the log messages start from the moment I replaced the file and so on.

I need a way to get it back to the previous file (before I replaced it). Is there any way to do this?

In essence, you deleted the old file, so the Resurrecting Deleted Items tip will link the log trace where it was before the replacement.
