How to limit the number of files you want to view using winscp?

Question

Is it possible to upload only a selected number of files using winscp .. there are more than 50,000 files that hang my winscp!

This seems to be a problem that several users are facing, and there seems to be no way to fix it. You can try one or more of the following:

When logging in, uncheck the box Resolve symbolic linksunder Environment > Directories ^[doc]
In the section, Preferences > Transferuncheck the Calculate total size ^[doc]
Try the command line
