How to link IRC and Google Talk?

I’m looking for a way to associate IRC with Google Talk.

We are currently using Partychatapp for google talk , and we would like to find a way to switch to using IRC.

The vision is to have everyone in the IRC room, and we can talk to the Google Talk bot site to talk to him.

Is there anything similar?

Do you want bitlbee . It looks like an IRC server for IRC clients and gateways for other instant messaging protocols.

I played with beatleby a few years ago. If it has not changed, it is not actually an IRC server, it simply claims to be alone. It provides a irc-enabled proxy for the jabber server, so you can use your favorite IRC client to connect to the jabber server via bitlbee.
