Can someone explain to me how bufferevent (in libevent) works for non-blocking sockets?

Question

The libevent 2.0 documentation is hard to understand. Can someone point me to a tutorial?

is a great libevent tutorial, with lots of examples. As a bonus, he wrote Nick Mathewson , one of the two accompanying libevent projects.

For buffers you can see the basics as well as the extended bits .
