Visual Express vs. Visual studio

I plan to create a video game myself as a hobby. I probably sound like some kind of self-confident idiot, but I am a C ++ programmer for life, and I believe that I have the patience, time and skills to do this.

However, my company does not allow us to use my Visual Studio license for anything other than work, and I have no money right now to buy myself a copy of Visual Studio. What features does Visual Studio offer Visual Visual that cannot interest me when I program this game? (I'm primarily interested in C ++)

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: BTW, this game will use OpenGL 3D graphics and will work mainly on Windows, although I can port it to Mac or Linux.
