How to improve the quality of the resulting video when merging audio-video with ffmpeg?

When merging audio and video with ffmpeg, the quality of the resulting video is reduced. How to improve quality (especially sound quality)?

Sound quality deteriorates to a large extent with accidental ascent between them. I tried to convert audio to mp3 and video to mp4 before combining them, tried various parameters of audio-video, such as bitrate, sample rate, qscale, etc., but still to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When used -q:v 1, the best resolution is applied. Number from 1 to 35. One of them is the best quality.
