Local version of the Google Maps API

Do you guys know if there is a version of the Google Maps API for C ++ that works using local maps, rather than connecting to a Google server?

The application is a graph of the GPS location in an area without internet coverage.

As an alternative to Google Maps, you can look at OpenStreetMap . (See Also Usage and Software Sections on Wikipedia )
