Ruby on Rails datetime_select

I was wondering if there is a way to hide the 24 hour datetime_select clock to a 12 hour clock?

It seems a predefined helper to perform this particular task automatically . You must expand and write your own helper for this feature.

Also, this is a very old plugin , I'm not sure if this works or is still supported for a similar thing.

I suggest you go and write your assistant to complete the task suggested in another SO question as follows:

def am_pm_hour_select(field_name)
select_tag(field_name,options_for_select([
