I am a senior student in computer technology and have been looking for some ideas for my graduation project. I loved some of the kinect hacks made and had great ideas. I have no experience in this area, so I decided to find Noob tutorials, or, as you can tell, I start literally from scratch.
I looked around and found that each project uses both 4 and 5 different programs to either visualize the data or just make it work.
So my question is: are there any good solid tutorials on this subject so you can begin your journey? Or am I better off waiting for the official sdk?

I have been working on a project with kinect for two months, and I use the OpenNI and NITE libraries, and they work like a charm!
I don’t know what project you want to do, but using these libraries gives you a lot of tools for using the sensor.
I am currently programming in C #, and the wrapper still works.
Good luck
