IPhone: what is the use of Airplay SDK?

Can someone explain to me what the Airplay SDK is and when it is used, how to use it in the program, etc. the details? Hope it is used to stream video from iPhone to TV?

The AirPlay SDK is actually a cross-platform game development platform for iPhone / Android / Symbian, now called marmelade .

AirPlay is also Apple’s video and audio technology and has nothing to do with marmalade. Starting with iOS 4.3, third-party applications can also send compatible audio and video streams via AirPlay.
