AMD CPU vs Intel CPU openCL

With some friends we want to use openCL. To do this, we want to buy a new computer, but we asked us best between AMD and Intel to use openCL. The graphics card will be Nvidia, and we have no choice on the graphics card, so we will start buying an Intel processor, but after some research we will find out that AMD with a processor is better with openCL. We did not find tests that compare both.

So here are our questions: Is AMD better than Intel with openCL? Do I need an Nvidia card with an AMD processor for openCL to work?

Thank,

Grwen

Intel, AMD OpenCL , , cooose. AMD Fusion Intel SandyBridge, Fusion, Intel (). , OpenCL, - NVidia , AMD.

AMP, CUDA, RenderScript, and many, many others work well, but they do not work on all hardware, as OpenCL does. CUDA certainly has its advantages, but at the time you learned openCL, I can assure you that the tools around OpenCL are caught.

CPU does not affect OpenCL GPU performance.

You can also try running OpenCL kernels on the processor. Checkout Intel OpenCL Beta. You can even run kernels on both the CPU and GPU.
