Current Detection Using USB and Java

To check if the “switch” is open or closed, and finding that in Java, I have the following plan: I will not use data contacts, only USB 5V current, and if the switch is closed, the current one I must detect in Java, and therefore it will be processed by my program. Would there be a simple solution for this, or do I need to find and try the entire Java Java library for it, from which I would use just a tiny bit?

Thanks in advance

This will not work the way you describe it. Have you ever connected a gadget, for example, a USB lamp or a USB fan? Then you will find out that the Software / OS does not even know about them.
