The stage of capturing the declaration in compilation

Languages

such as C and C ++, rely on forward declarations to resolve circular dependencies in type or function declarations. In C #, this is no longer required since the capture phase of the declaration is divided into two phases; one capturing symbol names and the second actually executing the construction of the symbol declaration.

Is there a standard name for the character name capture phase? I would suggest that the capture of the declaration will be left for the traditional phase, which includes the resolution of all characters in the declaration
