CRM 2011 - Reducing the "Maximum Length" of the "Subject" field in the Destination Gives an Error

When I want to reduce the "Maximum length" of the "Subject" field during a meeting, this gives me the following error:

Updating RecurringAppointmentMaster.subject.Length, but this is not valid for updating. Initial value: 400. New value: 398.

We cannot import the managed solution into CRM 2011 because the theme on the managed solution is β€œ255” and we use β€œ200” as the maximum length for the β€œSubject” field. Is there anything we can do to adjust the size (possibly without DB processing support)?
