UITextView textViewShouldBeginEditing failed when clicked again

I have a UIViewController. In this controller, I programmatically create a UITextView and set its delegate as my controller. I do this because I do not want to start editing the textView when I click on it.

ViewDidLoad Method

UITextView* textView = [[UITextView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(9, 10, 302, 200)];
[textView setDelegate:self];
[self.view addSubview:textView];
[textView release];

I implemented the textViewShouldBeginEditing method to return NO here to disable the keyboard.

textViewShouldBeginEditing

- (BOOL)textViewShouldBeginEditing:(UITextView *)textView
{
    NSLog(@"Shouldbegin");
    return NO;
}

Problem that appears

When I click on textView, it works once, but if I click on it again, it will crash the application without any kind of log. It's strange when I hold a textView and release it, it will work as if I want it to work. On the other hand, a regular one-time crater does not work a second time.

If you do not want to start editing a UITextView when you click it:

UITextView* textView = ...;
textView.editable = NO;
0
source
-(BOOL)textViewShouldBeginEditing:(UITextView *)textView
{

   [txtView resignFirstResponder];

}

and release txtView in dealloc method
