What to do?
We have an application deployed on a Sharepoint corporate server that uses Windows credentials to log into the application.
The goal is to perform load / performance testing of the application (especially the login function) for this number of users.
Usually, when I click on the application URL in Firefox / IE, it pops up a window asking for credentials. I enter the credentials, browse the application and log out. I intend to commit this to JMeter and simulate this for a large number of users.
Where am I stuck?
Now I have started the JMeter proxy and then I will try the same steps as above. But when a popup window appears, JMeter just does not record it and does not record anything else after logging in.
What ive tried?
If I try to do the same after turning on Automatically Detect Intranet Network in IE, it just automatically detects my Windows credentials (no credentials), logs me into the application (this also does not write to JMeter) and leads me to my home page. And any page after which I get written to JMeter.
Ive also tried using the HTTP Authorization Manager using the following parameters:
