How to turn off Netbeans highlighting?

I'm not sure StackOverflow is the right site for this question, but I don’t think it’s better for me to help from other developers.

Basically, Netbeans continues to highlight scripts in ERB or HTML files. I tried to disconnect many things in tools -> options -> fonts & colors. But no one worked.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It is displayed on all topics.

Old Queston, but still relevant (and in other IDEs too). For Netbeans v8, you will find most of the old links / topics unusable. But there is a way.

Go to Tools → Plugins and find the “theme” and you will get “Dark look and feel the theme”
