Published web application for Azure, how do I view, track it?

I created my first azure app. It has an MVC3 web role that writes some data to a table store.

It also has a working role that does some work behind the scenes on the same data.

Everything works fine in the emulator.

I uploaded all of this to Azure as an intermediate deployment, the hosted service reports that all roles are "ready." Health for all roles is “great”, although the work role seems to collapse and become “degraded” and then reset (I assume this is what happens).

So now? I found the "DNS name" in my web role in the form "http: // {guid} .cloudapp.net /"

Clicking on this link just gives me a network access error, http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ also cannot find it.

What am I missing? Where can I see diagnostics similar to an emulator? I set "Enable Diagnostics" to use my Azure storage account in each role. How do I get into the repository to find out if it is tracking anything? Can this be done through the management portal?

I tried searching on MSDN, but I can’t find the page that says “and then you click on the link to the DNS name and your website will start. I’m sure there is a beautiful page, but I can’t find it.

early!
