Android UDP connection not receiving any data

I am new to this, so please help me if I ask stupid questions.

I am trying to make a UDP connection between Eclipse PC Emulator and an Android phone
(or between two Android phone devices).

I have a router , and the phone connects to the Internet through the Wi-Fi network of the router. The PC is also on the same network (direct connection of the router to the PC). I am trying to send some text data from a server stream to a client stream, but nothing received / sent .: (
