I would like to distribute a preview of the application for the musician I am working with. He is not an employee of my company, but suggested that I make a soundtrack for free.
I checked on the iOS Provisioning Portal and found the following dislcaimer:
"Important: Your iOS Developer Program membership may be terminated if you provide pre-release Apple software to anyone other than employees, contractors, and members of your organization who are registered as Apple developers and have an obvious need to know or use Apple Software to "Developing and testing applications on your behalf. Unauthorized distribution of Apple Confidential Information (including the preliminary edition of Apple Software) is prohibited and may be subject to both civil and criminal penalties."
Accordingly, I can only distribute preliminary developer testing applications that I use somehow. This excludes the case when friends work for free on issues without coding (for example, a musician).
Did any of you have the same problem?
Many thanks!
EDIT2:
I posted this question again on a new post with additional information, as Apple answered me on this question and provided a different answer than the ones below. I tried to add comments to these answers, but this question does not seem to have more visibility and should solve this problem quickly, so I thought it was the way to go. Let me know if this is not true. Thank!
