What are the different types of measurements in SSAS

I am studying SSAS now. In this, I heard that there are many types of dimensions. What are these types. As a parent-child, there are several more categories. Can someone explain.

Measurement Types:

Snow Flake Sizes: Based on more than one source table. Degenerate dimensions: based on actual data table. This dimension will increase the size of the fact table. Use only based on business requirements, not very useful.
