Display categories of children in the current parent category (Expression Engine)

I need help with expression engines with a terrible category system ...

I have 4 main categories, each of which has child categories, these categories of children have 2-3 more categories of children.

I need a way to search in these categories, so the best way is to show the current categories of children and give the user the opportunity to return to the last category. (mainly a study of chests with several categories.

In short, how can I display child categories based on the active parent? For example, if one of my categories was as follows:
