Information storage inside LMS, SCORM

I read this SCORM user guide for pdf files for programmers, which I downloaded from the ADL website, and I found out that we can only store a specific set of information in the LMS; like students name, grade, etc.

I was wondering if I could do an SCO that could store my OWN set of information inside the LMS. Suppose if I were doing an SCO assessment, how could I store the answers that the student gives each question and then somehow retrieve them from the LMS? Is this possible anyway? keeping my own information inside LMS?
