Rich text editor with the ability to download images

I am trying to create a content management system using Codeigniter. I'm currently stuck looking for a text editor that has a built-in image upload function (like in joomla) so that users can embed images in content from their uploaded images.

I found so many text editors, but I did not find one that has a built-in image upload function.

Could you offer an open source text editor with the ability to upload images?
