Why doesn't the GWT developer for eclipse work with GXT 3 widgets?

I am trying to work with GXT 3 widgets in a GWT designer without success.

I managed to successfully use GXT 2.2 with the designer, but when switching to GXT 3 it seems that the resources and images are not enough. this seems strange because there are no folders for resources and images in GXT 3. What is going on here?

I am using the GXT 3.0 GPL and Eclipse Indigo 3.7

GXT 3 is not compatible with the Google plugin. For Eclipse, you cannot use GWT Designer to control GXT 3 widgets.
