Is a security issue displaying the current server load?

Would it be helpful if the hacker somehow publicly displays current server statistics, such as average load time and memory usage?

The only problem I can foresee is that someone trying to run a DDoS server will have visible signs of success or will be able to examine patterns to select the optimal time for the attack. Is this a big problem if I am confident in installing an anti-DDoS host? Are there any other problems that I don't see (I have a bad tendency to often let open security holes ...)
