Error connecting to the Puppet server / client

I have a couple of parallel Vms on my Mac, and I'm trying to establish a simple connection between them as a puppet master and a puppet client.

  • Puppet Master (on CentOs 6.2)
  • Puppet Client (on Ubuntu 12.1 server)

when trying to connect a client using the following command.

puppet agent --server 192.168.1.103 --waitforcert 60 --test --verbose

He is trying to connect with the next output

On the server side, I have a debug puppet wizard listening with the following output:

Is it possible to set up a simple puppet configuration without using host permission and a simple IP address?

Any help?

I fixed the problem by simply adding as VM ip to the / etc / hosts file. Then the puppet works well for me.
