I need to be able to write to my database at a speed of over 5,000 records per second. At the moment, I can not manage more than 10% of this number.
I use Spring to configure my data source (HSQL) and Hibernate as a Jpa provider.
My objects are all flat (there are no complex object trees), and I used Hibernate second level caching (EhCache) using the Concurrency strategy set in ConcurrencyStrategy.READ-WRITE.
