Silent installation of applications (.ipa) on iPad

To speed up the development of iOS, it would be great to have a way to install ipa on the device in an automatic way.

TestFlightApp does an excellent job of distributing ipa. I am looking for additional steps that allow you to put ipa on the device without user action. From the command line :-). It doesn’t matter via USB or WiFi.

Any inputs?

Apple Configurator requires OS X 10.7.2, but it seems to have the functionality you're looking for. It can run up to 30 devices at a time.
