Rails Gem for reservation system

I looked at The Ruby Toolbox and on the Internet, and was curious if anyone knew about GEM for rails to help you create / create a booking system (or tutorial)? Something similar to regular booking sites like airbnb.com or expedia.com, etc.

Something that keeps track of the reservation dates of To and From , shows availability, etc. I am sure you understand this idea.

This will require some expansion, but Refinery may be a good starting point , namely the “Event Engine” for that.
