I downloaded the virtual machine from Microsoft's "modern.ie" site to test IE10 / Windows 7 on my computer running Windows 7 (which has a different version of IE for testing sites).
It works great, but a Java plugin is required for our site. So, I go to the site in the VM copy of IE and boot from the Java site, but the installation always fails with this dialog:
I don’t know how to proceed, and nothing will be in this URL either.
