I installed Inkscape 0.48.2 on my new Mac mini working with Mavericks, but I can never get it to work as it crashes. He once asked me about the X11 server that I installed, but it has never worked since. What should I do?
Make sure you install Xquartz for the X server. http://xquartz.macosforge.org/
To view the logs, you can try the command line:
/Applications/Inkscape.app/Contents/MacOS/Inkscape
