I am working on a site where there will be a video. I use HTML5 with flash backup and post the video on the site (the client does not want to use Vimeo, YouTube, etc.). The video lasts a little over 4 minutes, and I compressed the video to 12.7 MB for mp4 format and about 23 MB for webm and ogv. Too big file sizes? I can possibly reduce them, but the quality really suffers. I also have the entire Adobe Creative Suite, so if someone has a good way to compress video very well, and most importantly quality and high resolution, I’m all ears!
