Good and compatible webcam for image processing / computer vision?

Please, help. Instead of the actual question, these are questions requiring feedback, suggestions and recommendations that the webcam is good enough for image processing. I need a smart low-light camera that has enough depth of field to capture an image.

Digital cameras are too cumbersome to use in my application, as well as software for interacting with the integrated processor, which I want to avoid.

The segmentation of the image that I am doing is pretty tough, in my opinion, it requires edge detection, well-defined images, etc. Therefore, the image cannot be too noisy or “blurry”.

The camera that I remember is http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/hd-webcam-c310

Is this webcam, in your opinion, sufficient for image processing? Has anyone used it before? I thought that the characteristics look good, I still have to check it. (It's hard to find a webcam on the display that I can check)

Does anyone have any recommendations for such a webcam or is there a preferred webcam you guys used for your own image processing / image processing projects / applications? The budget that my school supervisor set for me ranges from 60 to 70 US dollars (based on a rough conversion of the currency into my head).
