Error deploying Azure Website from GIT

I am trying to deploy an ASP.NET MVC5 application on Windows Azure websites, but keep getting this error when I click git:

An error has occurred during web site deployment.

I have included nuget recovery and I have another MVC4 application that is deploying fine.

To help identify the problem, I suggest starting with the pure cloning of your repo on your local machine. Then run NuGet recovery and make sure all relative links in your .csproj can be resolved. He seems to be trying to return to the GAC, which usually happens when relative paths are corrupted.
