I am noob and I am trying to compile a static ffmpeg build for android using the guardian project repository . ( https://github.com/guardianproject/android-ffmpeg )
I followed the steps described here, but he failed all the time. I am using Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit using vmware. Android NDk r8e 32 bit.

Also look at the terminal command line window for errors ...
It seems that making files is not done.
Please help me if anyone has a clearer understanding.
