Universal analytics - third-party payment gateway

Our website is currently tracking using Universal Analytics through Tag Manager. Our verification process includes redirecting to a third-party payment gateway before going to the "Thank you" page.

So it will look like this:

site.com/checkout → site.com/payment → security.com → site.com/thankyou

Security.com is a third-party site, and I cannot add the tracking code there.

I would like to see who can go through the security.com stage and go to site.com/thankyou. But with this setting, my reports show that after the site / payment site, visitors exit. They then return to the site with security.com as the referral page and site.com/thankyou as the landing page.

Anyway, can I set this so that I can see who actually does this from checking on the Thanks page?

Goto Admin → Property Settings → Tracking Information → Forwarding Exclusion List and enter the domain name of your payment gateway (does not work for data that has already been recorded).
